Nairn is an attractive seaside holiday town on prime location, on the coast of the Moray Firth, east of Inverness.
Nairn Access Panel are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to trying to make Nairn the become the most accessible town in the Scotland! We work with other local groups and businesses, our elected representatives, and the Highland Council officials to improve access to and within the many excellent shops, bars and restaurants, as well and improving the access to the outdoors pursuits that Nairn is famous for. Our wonderful riverside walks, the Links and its promenade, as well as access to the beach for anyone with a ,mobility aid, so everyone can enjoy the fantastic amenities and of course, the spectacular views of the Moray Firth. We are also campaigning to provide step-free access at Nairn railway station.
The access panel also offer practical advice to any business looking to make their premises more user friendly to disabled guests, and so potentially open their business up to many more customers. Please contact us on accessnairn@gmail.com.
